effort towards implementation of safety net program underscored

State Food Security Coordination Department disclosed that all concerned
bodies need to commit themselves to sustainably alleviate and seek long
lasting solution for the food security problems in the state by implementing
the safety net program.
During
a one-day consultative conference held in Butajira town,SNNP State Food
Security Sector Coordination Department Head,Mitiku Kassa,said efforts
should be exerted to improve the livelihood of families under deep-rooted
food security problem in the state.
He
said the conference will enable to identify the problems that should be
improved and need solution as well as to consolidate the strong sides.
Executives,office
heads as well as experts drawn from
Kedidagamela,Angacha,Qacha-Bera,Dalocha,Meskan,Silte and Mareko woredas
attended the day-long conference.
